APA Tournament Information

The American Poolplayers Association runs the largest and most exciting amateur tournaments. Every year thousands of APA members visit and compete in these tournaments.

APA Poolplayer Championships

May 3-7, 2017, Las Vegas, NV*

The culmination of individual play is the 8-Ball Classic and 9-Ball Shootout, held in conjunction with the APA Poolplayer Championships in Las Vegas. In addition to the 8-Ball Classic and 9-Ball Shootout, the 8-Ball Doubles, 9-Ball Doubles and Wheelchair Championships, as well as MiniMania events, take place during the Poolplayer Championships.

 


APA World Pool Championships

August 10-19, 2017, Las Vegas, NV*

The culmination of weekly APA League play is the APA World Pool Championships, held at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of the 9-Ball World Championship, 8-Ball World Championship, Ladies 8-Ball Championship, Jack & Jill Championship , Masters Championship, and the MiniMania events.

 

U.S. Amateur Championship

November 8-12, 2017, Tampa, FL*

Let the best of the best come and show their skills in the most prestigious amateur championship. Those who enter this event will experience the highest level of amateur billiard play in the United States!

 

APA Junior Championships

July 13-16, 2017, Davenport, IA*

This 9-Ball tournament is open to all active APA players between the ages of 7 and 18 at the time of the event, who are currently enrolled as a student, or who have graduated from high school.

 

MiniMania Tournaments

MiniMania Mini Tournaments

During the Championships in Las Vegas, the APA hosts MiniMania events nearly around-the-clock, which consist of a variety of formats, providing APA members with as many opportunities as possible to compete .

APA Showdown Series

During each of the Championships, the APA hosts select Showdown Series events, of multiple formats, providing APA members with other opportunities to compete in Las Vegas.
