Asia Cycak edged Stacie Bourbeau 5-4 in the semifinal round and has advanced to the finals.
The match was one of the most intense of the tournament with the players battling down to the final 9-Ball. Bourbeau narrowly missed pocketing 9-ball in the ninth and deciding game, leaving the window of opportunity open for Cycak to take the match.
After the match, in a show of good sportsmanship, Cycak tried to console an emotional Bourbeau.
Cycak will look to avenge not only a loss earlier today to Jones, but also a defeat in the finals of the 2012 U.S. Amateur Championship.
