APA Junior Leagues

You must be 18 years or older to participate in regular APA Leagues (some areas may require players to be 21 or older).

APA Junior Leagues

In some areas the APA sanctions an 8-Ball Juniors Division. The Juniors Division is structured similar to the 8-Ball Team format and follows all of the same rules, policies and procedures as the APA 8-Ball League system.

As a Junior member of the APA, you will receive the best benefits available to the Junior amateur player. Currently, we do not conduct a national championship; however prizes are awarded to the winning teams at the Local Team Championships.

The age limit in a Juniors Division is 20 years old. Some areas may allow parents or guardians of APA Junior Members to acquire a Junior membership in order to play on the same team at the Junior level; some restrictions may apply. The Team Skill Limit Rule in the Junior Division is 20, which is similar to the 8-Ball 23-rule. The total of the skill levels of the five players fielded in any team match cannot exceed 20.

The membership fee for Junior membership is $10 per year.
