Ron Schulmeister of Atlanta, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at his home, surrounded by the love his family. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, bowler, winemaker and poolplayer. He was a longtime member of the Logan County APA. Ron participated in the 9-Ball National Team Championships in 2007; his team was the first from Logan County to ever place in the prize money! He and his wife Bonnie also participated in the preregistered Jack & Jill Championship in Las Vegas. Ron loved pool and played until his cancer prevented him from shooting. His wife Bonnie says that you may only be able to be a 7 in 8-Ball and a 9 in 9-Ball, but now Ron is in heaven and he is a 10 and saying, “Rack ‘Em Up!”
