8-Ball Open division

8-BALL NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

Westside of Kankakee, Ill., defeated Secretly Sloshed of Shreveport, La., 3-0 in the finals of the Open 8-Ball Division of the 2008 National Team Championships. The victory earned them $25,000 in 1st Place prize money! Secretly Sloshed took home $15,000 as Runners-Up.

Westside advanced to the finals with a victory over The Untouchables of Springdel, Ohio.  Secretly Sloshed defeated Vested in Pool of Livonia, Mich., to advance.

The Open 8-Ball Division saw a record 707 teams compete this year.
