2003 APA National Team Championships On-Site Coverage
NTC is over...
The
2003 APA National Team Championships have come and gone with three national
championships being crowned, thousands of dollars in prize money being
awarded and hundreds of teams having the experience of a lifetime.
See which Ladies 8-Ball, Open
9-Ball and Open 8-Ball Division teams
from across North America won a share of the more than $750,000 up for
grabs.

Pool Time Grill of Baton Rouge, La., are this
year’s champions in the Open 8-Ball Division of the APA National
Team Championship. Pool Time Grill defeated Rac Pac of Stafford,

9-Ball Doubles Championship Results
The 9-Ball Doubles Pre-registered Championship
event ended Friday evening with Dreamers, Scott Davis (SK3) and Melinda
Massey (SK2)
from Millville, NJ defeating Double Threat, Kenneth Loftis (SK3)
and Corey Lewis (SK3) from Richmond, Va. The Dreamers took home a
first place prize of $4,000; Double Threat took home $2,000. More..

Triple Play Championship Results
The Triple Play Pre-registered Championship
event concluded on Friday with Three California Amigos, Frank Almanza,
Jose Garcia and Elias
Valles of Upland, Calif defeating the Triple 7’s, Troy Pasley,
Joe Nielsen and Jobie Gross of Canton, Ill. The Three California
Amigos took home a first place prize of $7,500; the Triple 7’s

year’s champions in the Open 9-Ball Division of the APA National

After two days of competition and in a field
of 256 teams, the pre-registered 8-Ball Doubles event concluded
on August 17 with Poultry Power from Chicago, Illinois defeating

Match Time Guidelines
- We have established
guidelines to limit match play time in an effort to produce a tournament
that adheres to a schedule that is
productive and enjoyable for all participants. We have a full schedule
of rounds that must be completed in a timely manner. More information |
IMPORTANT
- National Team Championship Rooming at the Riviera Hotel & Casino
The Riviera Hotel & Casino is currently SOLD
OUT on the nights of August 17 & 18, 2003 for the
APA National Team Championships. If you would like to reserve
lodging at the Riviera on either of these nights, we recommend
you contact the hotel toward the end of June. Many rooms are being
held until after Local Team Championships are completed; it is
anticipated that some of these rooms will be released at this
time. You may also want to contact your local League Operator
to see if they are holding rooms for your team
