Camel 8-Ball National Team Championship (Open Division)

It's Like a Nightmare of San Diego are this year's champions in the Open 8-Ball Division of the APA National Team Championship. It's Like a Nightmare defeated Double 7's/Triple Threat of Frederick, Md., in the finals to take home $25,000 in 1st Place prize money. In addition, It's Like a Nightmare also received a 1st Place team trophy, individual team plaques and commemorative champagne. As Runner's-Up in the Open 8-Ball Division, Double 7's/Triple Threat received $15,000 in cash, in addition to a team trophy, individual team plaques and commemorative champagne.

In semifinal action earlier in the day, it was Double 7's advancing to the final round with a victory over B&N's 8's in the Hole of San Antonio. B&N's 8's in the Hole finished in 3rd Place, winning $7,500 in cash.

Finishing in 5th Place following the quarterfinal round Friday night were Sandersville Mafia of Milledgeville, Ga, Cardiac Kids of Memphis, Creek Dogs of Girard, Ohio and Beatin the Odds of Jacksonville, Ill.

More than 550 Open 8-Ball teams (554 to be exact) from across the country came to Las Vegas to compete in the Ladies Division.
