The 2002 APA National Team Championships are in the books with the last of three champions being crowned Saturday evening in the Open 8-Ball Division.

See which Ladies 8-Ball, Open 9-Ball and Open 8-Ball Division teams from across North America won a share of the more than $750,000 up for grabs.

Open 8-Ball 3-Person Results - The Open 8-Ball 3-Person event concluded on Saturday with The Hurricanes, Mike Defino, John Pasquarella and Shane Manaole of San Diego, Calif., defeating the 2001 3-Person defending champs Three California Amigos, Frank Almanza, Jose Garcia and Elias Valles of Upland, Calif.
Bustamante Wins Las Vegas Invitational - Francisco Bustamante won the inaugural Las Vegas Invitational 9-Ball Championship held in conjunction with the APA National Team Championships.

Open 8-Ball National Team Championships - Opening Ceremonies - The 2002 National Team Championships started this morning with Opening Ceremonies at 10:00 a.m. and Round 1 starting at 11:00 a.m. President Renee Lyle Poehlman welcomed and congratulated the 554 Teams competing this year.
Florida APA Members Tie the Knot in Las Vegas - APA members Matt Reineck and Carol Vaughn met three years ago through APA League play in Port Charlotte, Florida.
8-Ball Doubles Results - After two days of competition in a field of 256 teams, the pre-registered 8-Ball Doubles event concluded on August 18 with Rack'em, Inc. from Las Vegas, Nevada playing Double Trouble of Toledo, Ohio. The match was a race to four. Rack'em, Inc., Dennis and Pamela Fletcher, defeated Double Trouble, Keith Milisits and Kenny Nemire. The Fletchers took home a first place prize of $5,000; second place took home $3,000.
