#1 - Checking in Your Cue as Luggage
- Pool Cues & Cases are not allowed as a carry-on item. It must
be checked in as luggage prior to boarding your flight.
Here
are some suggestions for traveling with your cue(s):
- Bubble-wrap
your case with cue(s) enclosed in a box that you can check through
as luggage. Sealed boxes that are checked-in are not required
to be opened. They will be screened prior to being placed on the
airplane.
- Check-in
your cue case as luggage but bubble-wrap cue(s) separately in
your clothing luggage.
- Bubble-wrap
your case and cue(s) in your clothing luggage.
- When
checking any luggage be sure your name and contact information
is on the outside and inside of each item.
OPTION #2 - Mailing Your Cue to the Riviera Hotel & Casino
-Ship your boxed case and cue(s) via UPS, or other delivery system,
to the hotel in advance. The Riviera houses a Business Center that
accepts packages, for a charge to be paid by you, and holds them
for up to three days, free of charge. Items left over three days
will be charged a $5 per box per day holding fee.
The
Riviera charges $5 per 15 pounds per item sent to the Business Center
for holding in a secure room until it is picked up. You do not have
to be a registered guest at the Riviera Hotel & Casino to use
this service.

You
MUST include your name on the shipping label. The Business Center
will only release the package to the person whose name appears on
the package. You will also have to arrange shipment from the Business
Center after the Tournament is over. Business Center hours are Monday
through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call the Riviera Business Center if you have any
questions about shipping your package to their facility.
