2000 Camel 8-Ball NTC - Open Division

The Open Division of the 2000 Camel 8-Ball National Team Championships came down to the final game with Lucky 7 of Atlanta, GA, taking the victory and the $25,000 in 1st Place Prize Money. Lucky 7 persevered through a tough match to defeat Runners-Up Shooters Billiards of Gardner, MA.  Shooters Billiards took home 2nd Place honors, $15,000 in cash, a team trophy, individual team plaques and commemorative champagne for their incredible effort.  Finishing in a tie for 3rd Place were Frog Pond 1 of Stratford, CT, and Bad Boys and Babes of Monroe, LA.  Each of these teams received $7,500 in cash, a team trophy and individual team plaques.  The four teams tied for 5th Place were Portland Bunch of Louisville, KY, Hot Shots 1 of Garrettsville, OH, and Thats Right of Harrisburg, IL, and Dead Stroke of Little Rock, AR.  Each of the 5th Place teams received $5,100 in cash, a team trophy and individual team plaques.

In the Team Shirt Contest in the Open Division, Thunder Breakers of Evansville, IN, took 1st in the competition, with Pool This of New Castle, DE, and The Pink Insiders of Las Vegas, NV, finishing in 2nd and 3rd Place respectively.

Receiving the Gentleman Jack Sportsmanship Award in the Open Division were Pennys Game Cocks of Soddy Daisy, TN, who received commemorative team flasks and $350 in cash.
