APA ShootoutAPA 9-Ball Shootout

The finals of the 9-Ball Shootout were held Saturday afternoon with three new champions being crowned.

In the finals of the Green Tier (SL 1-3), Andrea De Rossett of Woodstock, Ga., defeated Brian Gannon of Bayonne, N.J.,

In the finals of the White Tier (SL 4-5), Lee Cox or Richmond, Va., defeated Jameson Newtown of Largo, Fla.

In the finals of the Black Tier (SL 6-9), 2005 Champion Brian Parks of Bakersfield, Calif., succesfully defended his title against Gary Wheeler of Apache Junction, Az.

Each of the three champions took home a $10,000 prize package, while the Runners-up received a prize package worth $5,000. More than 130 players from across North America competed in the 2006 9-Ball Shootout.
