2005 APA 8-Ball Classic National Championship

The finals of the 8-Ball Classic were held Saturday afternoon with three new champions being crowned.

In the finals of the Blue Tier (SL 2-3), Joey Jordan of Tallahassee, Fla., defeated Tony Ajetunmobi of New York City, 3-1.

In the finals of the Yellow Tier (SL 4-5), Timothy Baker of Conway, Ark., defeated Teresa Manning of Friedens, Pa., 5-1.

In the finals of the Purple Tier (SL 6-7), Zane Edgens of Gurnee, Ill., defeated Kenneth Brisbon of Oxford, Mich., 4-2.

Each of the three champions took home a $15,000 prize package, while the Runners-up received a prize package worth $9,000. More than 350 players from across North America competed in the 2005 8-Ball Classic.
