Riviera Hotel And Casino

Letter From President

Regardless of where you finish in this event, take great pride in the fact that you were one of the few to make it all the way to Las Vegas!

With six National Championships and thousands of dollars in cash and prizes at stake, you’ll need to stay focused and perform to the best of your ability. You can expect to experience more excitement, more intensity and more grueling competition than you may have ever encountered, and—if you are up to the challenge—you may return home a National Singles Champion!

We aim to make your national tournament experience enjoyable. In addition to the National Championships, we have plenty to keep you busy this weekend. We’ll be hosting our annual Jack & Jill Doubles Championship and conducting nearly round-the-clock mini tournament events, which take place in the MiniMania room. APA Fan Favorites Allison Fisher and Tom “Dr. Cue” Rossman will both be performing exhibitions and signing autographs during the event. You can even take a lesson from the world’s No.1-ranked women’s pro player, as Allison will be conducting a limited number of instructional courses—see details on Pg. 15. And you’ll want to top off your Vegas experience Saturday night at our Hollywood Nights Party, poolside at the Riviera.

On behalf of the entire APA staff, our sponsors and our network of League Operators, we wish you the best of luck and hope you enjoy the tournament!

Best regards,

Reneé Lyle Poehlman
President
