Father and son duo, Marshall Geddert and Randy Geddert from Atlanta, Ill., played in their first ever 9-Ball Doubles qualifier together this year—lo and behold, they actually won it and competed the 9-Ball Doubles Championship. Their team name is Chubby’s Bar and Grill, coined after the bar they own.

“We have been playing APA Leagues together for 7 years,” Marshall said. “This was the first time we ever shot 9-Ball Doubles together. We play both 8 and 9-Ball together.”

Both have competed in Vegas before, but they’re excited to be playing together in a doubles event.  Their goal for Vegas was to just do the best they can. Both got involved with APA when they decided to play pool and put teams together in their bar.
