The culmination of weekly League play is the National Team Championships! Thousands of poolplayers from the U.S., Canada and Japan traveled to the Riviera Hotel and Casino Aug. 19-28 with hopes of returning home National Champions. In the 8-Ball Open Division, a $25,000 1st Place prize was up for grabs! The 9-Ball Division teams vied for a $15,000 1st Place prize and the 8-Ball Ladies Division awarded $10,000 to the Champion team! The preregistered 8-Ball Doubles, Masters, 9-Ball Doubles and Wheelchair Challenge events, as well as MiniMania tournaments also took place throughout the week.
Tom "Dr. Cue" Rossman performed exhibitions and signed autographs throughout the event. And, the top trick shot artists in the world competed in the Ultimate Trick Shot Championship, which was FREE for spectators!
